All great things must come to an end. We all wish it wouldnt, and for him it shouldnt, but life felt he did his good here and it is his time now to go to the great beyond we all will take sooner or later. We all want it later, and he definitely should have been later, because this world knows we need more people like him to inspire dreams, determination, and the will to succeed in what a person wants in life. It was great while it lasted, but it was time for him to go. I just hope he is up there drawing and smiling at us below. Thanks for everything Mr. Turner. Ill never forget the inspiration your work gave me in my time of need. . . . . Thank you.

Michael Turner
I came home later today from work to just do some more work. As I sat down I popped onto Deviantart and checked out the journals. I see all these journals with Michael Turners name in them. Then there is the one with the letters RIP in it. I opened it and read that he passed away Friday night from cancer at age 37. With shock and an immediate tear in my eye I told my stepson about it, and he was saddened in an instant. Many things went through my head about it. I questioned my own mortality, why he was taken from us, why are so many good people gone before they should have.
Mr. Turner was an inspiration to me with his beautiful artwork and good nature attitude to people he never met. Meeting him was a scary experience at first due to his amazing artwork. He was doing it perfect and I felt I wasnt. When I made it up to him I asked him to check out what I had, and he smiled and he took my work eagerly. He looked at it and showed me what I needed to work on. The way he did it was in such a great, creative manner that the criticism couldnt even be called that. It should be called words of wisdom from what I heard. Then on I kept getting his work and used it as reference. My god the work practically wallpapers my work area, and I practiced every night as much as I could.
This man arguably inspired millions of people from the comic pros to the aspiring artist (ME!) to the average reader who enjoyed his works whenever they could get their hands on it. So for this I ask this to all aspiring comic artists, current comic artists, and any other artists that ever had the greatness of experiencing his work. I am hopefully going to show how far I have come from injury this week by working on a tribute piece to Michael Turner as my first ever comic piece after my injury on Deviantart. When I finish it I will sell the piece to the highest bidder, and donate it to his charity. I ask other artists to pay tribute to him and draw something for a donation to his charity in his name.
I hope I can come up with something worthy of this. I will do my best, because he deserves the best I have.
